We will be open for snowshoeing and fat tire bikes ONLY this morning. We may possibly open the trails for skiing at noon. Please check back here or call us to get the latest 802-824-3933.
Noon update: 12k open for skiing. It's going to be challenging for new skiers, but experienced skiers will be fine. Only the trails on the left side of the map are open for skiing - the inner trails, Pines Run out to Riverside Farm, and Loki's.
Malcolm is out grooming, he says it is really hard out there. Grooming is taking longer because he also has had to stop and cut up two trees that blew down last night. The groomer is doing its best to grind up the snow but it's a challenge without the sun and warmer air to help.
At this point, skiing will not be fun. Snowshoes and fat bikes will be fine out on the trails. We will reassess the snow around 11 and if grooming is making a big difference then we will open the inner trails and possibly Boynton Run Pines Run loop. We will not be opening trails on the Beaver Pond side until we can get out there with a chainsaw.
There is no night skiing tonight. We are most likely done for the remainder of the season.
