Generally speaking Saturday of New Year's weekend, MLK weekend, President's weekend and Valentine's Day are always scheduled. Most Saturday nights we will ski if the weather is good.
Then it's by 'whim and weather' if the conditions are right we will flip on the lights.
February 10th - Canceled due to expected squishy snow and nighttime showers
Wednesday February 14th - Valentine's Night
Saturday February 17th - Canceled.
Night Skiing (or snowshoeing)

Enjoy our 3km of intersecting trails lit by both overhead lights and gas lanterns. The lantern section, known as 'The Tunnel of Love' is softly lit by old style railroad lanterns. Night skiing or snowshoeing is fun for all ages. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are outdoor activities that you can do with your friends or family. Our night ski events are by whim and weather. If the snow will be nice, the weather good, and we have staff who are available for a very long day, we may decide to add a night ski to the calendar. We post it on our facebook page and update here when that decision is made. We never know what the next weekend will bring so if you think you want to do this don't hesitate - come on over! There are no guarantees from one weekend to the next, that's Vermont winter in a nutshell, so ski while the skiing is good! Family Max for Night passes: $35.00 (2 Adults and all their children - immediate family )
Time: Night ski pass go on sale at 4:50 pm. We'll turn the lights on from 5:00-8:00pm. Prices do not include VT sales tax (yes, we have to, they get sticky about that) All night ski events are subject to weather. Viking Nordic is a great place to bring your club, group, company, or family reunion, especially at night! Private night ski rentals are available M-F and Sunday nights.
Planning a Party? For a memorable experience, reserve the clubhouse for the evening and bring your group night skiing! Use our 3km of lit trails, including a special section lit by lanterns. There is nothing like skiing or snowshoeing on a Vermont winter night. Don't forget hot cider and a party in the clubhouse! 3 hrs of lights: $250 (5:00-8:00pm) Rental equipment: $8 per set.
