Well, here we sit waiting, and waiting, for some measurable snow. If you are here in Vermont you know that yesterday was an icy, wet, miserable day. Fortunately for many of us it was also a day filled with family and friends. The distraction of loved ones helped keep us from looking up at the sky and asking when... when will it snow.
It's very crusty out in the woods. As long as I've been in this business we've looked at a nice solid crust and said, "well, we've got a great base". That's the optimism we all need to keep our spirits up as we twiddle our thumbs and wait for the snow. When it comes it has a great base to stick to, so bring it on, we're ready!
While we wait; keep up the snow dance, put your pj's on backwards and put an ice cube in the toilet for every inch of snow you want. According to our friend Larry, all these work to guarantee a snow day!
Thanks for checking in, as soon as we are good to go, I'll post it here and on Facebook so check back again soon. Fingers and toes crossed.
