The inner trails are groomed for skiing. Malcolm reports the snow is a beautiful soft snow. He waited until this morning to groom which allowed the snow to crystalize again, so there is very little granular snow. It's really lovely. Skate skiing is possible but it's still a bit soft, although if you are looking for a good workout this is the day. As you can see, we have one skier who is taking advantage of first tracks on skate skis. This is lovely snow for new skiers. It's soft and forgiving. This morning the skiing will be more mid-winter snow, but as the temperatures rise, and they will today, the snow will soften and get sticky.

Looking ahead: today will be a good day for skiing, tomorrow and Thursday are not looking very promising.
