Tuesday, 3/28 Spring is springing everywhere.

A dusting of snow last night, some icing in the trees and 37 degrees at 9am. It is spring. Malcom is doing a quick touch up to the trails, loose granular snow will turn to wet granular spring snow later this morning. Pretty much any minute actually.... 
I just LOVE spring skiing. The sky is blue, there's lots of snow still and the temperatures are going to be warm today. Yet another great day for a spring ski and a picnic! (Or a pocket full of Grandma Miller's cookies)

Looking ahead: we will not be open Wednesday and Thursday this week. We'll be back on Friday at 9am. Saturday is up in the air because of the weather forecast, Sunday is looking good. Sunday will probably be our last day of the season. Once things start to blossom and folks start pulling out their golf clubs there's not a whole lot of interest in skiing anymore. It's sad, but that's the way it goes every year.
