Another beautiful day here in Vermont! 
19km open for skiing
22km open for snowshoeing
Groomed ​"dusty granular/powdery mix snow" Which is a different way to say slightly variable but really nice conditions. We still have pretty great coverage on all the trails, the field is holding up well considering how warm it got yesterday but today with temperatures looking to go well above freezing we'll see how that goes. It won't make a huge difference today except for maybe you will need to shed a few layers. 

Today is a great day for skiing and a perfectly lovely day for a picnic out at the little cabin. Stop by our friends in town either Mike and Tammy's - Bromley Market - or Jelly's Deli and grab a nice picnic spread. Maybe grab a bottle of wine  while you are at it and head on out to the little cabin for a wonderful trailside lunch. It's a thought....

The first picture is from Malcolm's early morning grooming run today. You can see the snow is pretty excellent. Yesterday we gave him some time off, the poor guy was really cooked. The second two pictures are from his afternoon ski out on the new Roundabout. He and Gunnar were chatting about the moose family that hangs out there. Had I known the moose would like this trail so much, I might have named it Moose tracks. If you get out there, look for the tracks, they go right down the trail :-)
