Viking received more than 30” of snow Saturday.   AMAZING.  

Snowshoeing today should be a great way to enjoy the return of winter!

Now for the bad news. This weekend Viking isn’t in a position to groom a 30” snowfall for skiing.   BTW, this is Peter (I own but typically only do Viking's backroom stuff). I gave the faces you normally see running Viking this weekend off, back in February when this winter seemed to end. And, though they protested, I told the McNairs to enjoy their planned travel when the storm came up.  I was betting on the ‘12 inches or less’ forecast, a grooming job within my reach.  But 30+”, well, let’s just say more is required to get the trails ready for a great ski day.

This is a long way of saying, come snowshoe, have a blast in the snow, stop in the shop and say hi, I’d love to meet you. If you want to ski today please go visit our friends at Wild Wings, they are planning to have 10 km open.

We’ll be open 10 am - 4:30 pm today, Sunday.  Get out and enjoy the snow!
