15km open for skiing, 20 km open for snowshoeing.
Packed powder groomed for both skate and classic. 
Both snowshoe trails are also open for snowshoers who want a more authentic woods trek. 
We have about an inch of new snow from yesterday's little storm. It all adds up, even when it's just a little bit at a time. We'll take it!

It will be another beautiful day for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Temperatures are starting off cold but will warm up to a comfortable mid-teens today. It may be a cold day to sit on a chairlift, but this is a perfect temperature for xc skiing. You create your own heat, so don't forget to dress in layers. 

Today's picture was taken by Jane our wonderful ski instructor and good friend. This is the view looking north across the West River valley from the high point on Loki's Lookout Trail. Loki's crosses the fields you see and heads around the barn in the distance. It's a lovely long ski that winds through the woods and across the Riverside Farm trails before sneaking back into the woods to the loops. There's a picnic table way out on the loops, which is a perfect spot for a lunch stop.
