Malcolm is out grooming, spending another morning going around and around working on pulling up a nice frozen granular snow. That said, it is going to be fast skiing in the morning until the sun works on softening the snow. If you are new to skiing, you might consider starting out with snowshoes. Go out and explore the trails you might not ski, then as the snow softens change over to skis. If you are renting equipment from us you will have that option. 
These conditions are challenging for new skiers until the snow softens up. This is also classic Vermont spring skiing, so finding the sweet spot is the key to a happy day. Experienced skiers will enjoy the fast glide of earlier skiing but most skiers will enjoy the conditions that evolve from a little sun and warmer temperature. Generally speaking, late morning to early afternoon will be better today.  
Looking ahead: Monday and Tuesday look like they will good warm spring days but we will most likely lose a lot of snow when the temperatures go as high as predicted. Wednesday is not looking like there will great weather so we will probably be closed.  Until then, ski the snow we have and let's all hope for a nice March dump because we could definitely use a nice big snowstorm.
