Sunday 2/11. This is a mostly snowshoe only day.

Sunday 11:30 Update
15km open for snowshoeing
Very limited but nice skiing on the inner green trails.
Field Loop, Norseman, Wigo's, Wolf Path, Night Link and Viking Run are all open for skiing.

Malcom and Bob have opened Wolf Path and Norseman for skiing. They will continue to work on trails and open up as the day progresses. Between the rain and the melting and the refreezing last night the trails are just not good for skiing this morning. Malcolm is out running the groomer around to scuff it up so that anyone who wants to get outside can have a nice day snowshoeing. It's a sad state of affairs. Yesterday was such a nice day, albeit warm and melty, but Mother Nature is currently in a mood and we have to put up with it.

Temperatures will push above freezing later in the morning, the sun is pushing through the clouds so the day will be ok. Vermont air is fresh, the woods are quiet so it may just be a nice day to go for a walk on snowshoes with your friends. Bob and Malcolm will be out working on filling in bare spots and moving snow so that we may have some skiing tomorrow. Say hi to them if you come over today, they might appreciate the boost.
