Malcolm has opened up Boynton to Roundabout for skiing The sun is out and the sky is blue, it's turning into a pretty nice day.

18km open for skiing
22km open for snowshoeing
18km open for fat tire bikes.
Loose granular snow, some thin spots where melting has happened. No tracks set currently, that may change depending on how much depth grooming can make.

Malcolm is out grooming - he sent this picture of how it's going. He's going around and around breaking up the snow into a nice loose granular. Crazy warm temperatures cause melting, then deep cold night freeze it sall back up. This is spring in Vermont. It's a labor intensive thing to turn this snow back in to skiable snow but Malcolm is woking hard on doing just that. This snow is great for skate skiing, firm enough for fat tire bikes and experienced skiers will be ok. This snow is not so much fun for new skiers. It requires more skill to ski it and have fun. We recommend considering snowshoeing today if skiing isn't for you. We want you to enjoy yourself out there, snowshoeing is a great way to get to know the trails. If you rent skis you can change over to snowshoes if you get out there and find it's a little more
