11am update: 12km open for skiing, Malcolm is out opening the last of the Riverside Farm trails.
We will be open tonight for night skiing or snowshoeing. 5-8pm. Night tickets go on sale at 5.
Open today at 9am. We are hoping to have 10k open for skiing, but grooming has been slowed down by lots of branches on the trails. 22 k open for snowshoeing. As Malcolm opens more trails, I will update.
We are open for fat biking, but we recommend coming early while the trails are still a little firm. Please note, we do not allow electric fat bikes on the trails. The snow can not withstand the extra weight.
For the most part, we'll be skiing on loose granular snow. We don't have a lot of depth left, but Malcolm is working hard to groom what we have. He reports that where he has the depth he's pulling up some nice snow. Everything will be groomed flat today. There are some hard spots but mostly you will find a nice loose soft granular out there.
We had a lot of persistent wind yesterday that dropped a bunch of junk on the trails. Bob will be out throwing sticks off the trails, so if you hear a snowmobile out there, just step aside so he can go around you and if you feel the need to chuck a stick into the woods, feel free.
If you rent equipment from us you have the option of changing from skis to snowshoes or the other way around at any point.
