20km open for snowshoeing or fat bikes only
Today is another snowshoe day. Malcolm went out this morning to see if we could groom for skiing. Until the snow warms up we can't get into it enough to make it great. The first two or three skiers would enjoy it but any hills would be skied off very quickly and then it stops being fun. So, we're going with what we've got.
Yesterday was a busy day for snowshoeing. Lots of folks came out to seek out different parts of our trails. It was fun to see the excitement when someone came back in a said, "Wow, that yellow trail is cool!" We think so too. And you could never check it out on skis. It's just not built for that.
We also gave out a bunch of cookies yesterday to some really cute kids! If you are coming with kids ask about the cookie cards. And don't feel left out just because you are older than 12. We have a cookie hunt for bik kids too.
If you are up for a bit of an adventure, come on over. We have lots of snowshoes for rent, and tons of cookies. Today is the day, tomorrow is looking a little iffy.
