One more day...
Open for skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking
Updated grooming report: Inner Trails, Boynton out to the cabin and back, and Pines to the driveway and back. 10k total measured one way. (Round trips on some of these trails double the distance)
We are open today with limited skiing on the inner trails this morning. All trails except Thor's are two way so there's actually a fair amount of skiing. Malcolm is out grooming, making lots of passes to pull up a nice loose granular snow, turning to a spring corn snow. The skiing will be a bit fast until the sun has time to soften things up. The field took a hit, but you can walk up to the trail heads where the snow starts. There's still a lot of snow out there. Boynton will be open to the cabin today.
The sun is out and putting a lot of energy into the task. Temperatures will be slightly above freezing later this morning. It's also a great day for a snowshoe picnic, so if you are looking for a chance to get out for some fresh air, grab some goodies and maybe head out to the little cabin for a lunch in the sun.
