We will be turning on the lights tonight. That seems to be the big question on everyone's mind. Dress warmly, it will be cold, but not so cold you won't have fun. Snowshoeing will be great, skiing will be a bit fast but certainly skiable for anyone who has spent some time on xc skis.

So, if you are at all tentative, bring or rent snowshoes. You'll have a good time, and you can explore trails  you probably wouldn't ski down otherwise, like Thor's Run. It's really pretty down there on the whoopdewhoop downhills.

Today's conditions are the same as yesterday. Lots of lose frozen granular that has been groomed, and groomed. Experienced skiers will be fine. The glide is great! New to skiing? It will be  a bit challenging, today is a good day to rent snowshoes and go exploring the more difficult trails. If it feels good, you can always switch over to skis after the sun has done it's work softening the snow.

20km open for skiing
22 km open for snowshoeing and fat biking
