25km open for skiing, snowshoeing and fat bikes. Packed powder on top of a hefty base.
Most of the open trails have tracks set, some are groomed flat. We're working with a very small amount of great snow on top of a seriously hard base, or no base at all. It's one of those weird times where the skiing is pretty nice but we just don't have a lot of it. The week ahead is not looking like it will bring us any snow. So much for that lion. The fine print: ski now while you can.
The picture was taken by my sister when she was here last Saturday. Look at how pretty it was. This is one of my favorite spots on our trails. It's short and sweet, but very Vermont.
