We are open today from 9-5. The trails are open until 4:45
​14km open for skiing - skate skiing will be great today
30km open for snowshoeing. 
Loose granular powder mix. Skiing will be much faster than yesterday. Spring skiing is like this, soft wet snow freezes up overnight and turns into granular snow after grooming. 
We got about an inch and a half of new snow last night, not enough to make any real difference but it's pretty. 
Malcolm groomed last night as the temperature was dropping  (the picture is from that late day grooming run yesterday), and is out again this morning. We have quite a lot of depth, so he'll be able to get a good layer of granular snow as he grooms. 
The sun and air temperatures determine how soft things will get each day. Today is not going to get very warm, so the granular snow will not get soft today. Experienced skiers will enjoy the glide, new skiers may find it challenging today. If you rent skis with us and find these conditions more difficult, you can always switch over to snowshoes. If you aren't sure, snowshoeing is a great way to get out into the woods.
