Sunday is starting out almost 20 degrees warmer than yesterday and that's a nice. The great thing about cold weather is how well it helps to hold the snow. We're still skiing on nice groomed powder snow. It's great for new skiers because it is soft and forgiving. So if you are thinking of trying xc skiing, now is a good time to do that. Malcolm is out dropping down some fresh tracks this morning. We still won't have the field trails or the beaver pond trails open. We'll start checking those trails on Monday to see how that water is doing. There is a good chance we will be closed Monday. Please check in with us before driving over. For the weekend: 15km inter-connected trails groomed with tracks for skiing (classic is best still, it's a bit soft for skate skiing) 19km open for snowshoeing. Still too soft for fat bikes. Cafe Update: We will be baking cookies and making soup for the weekend. If you have not read the covid page yet, please do. It explains how we're operating this winter. There are things you will want to know. Comments are closed.
