Daily Trail Report

It's going to be a warm spring like day. It's a perfect day for snowshoe picnic.

We are not open for skiing yet. We just need more snow. This warm weather isn't going to work for that, so we're still snowshoeing. We've had a lot of folks who are new to snowshoeing discovering they really enjoy it. This just another thing to do in the winter when conditions are not ideal for skiing. When you are snowshoeing, the pace is slower, there is more time to stop and look around, and when snowshoeing with friends conversation is easy.
We have about 15k open for snowshoeing today, but that is melting in the sunny spots, so tomorrow it may be less. Today is a good day to pack a picnic lunch and snowshoe out towards the river. Look for the otters, or see if you can find the flock of turkeys that hang out in the field.
Looking ahead: we plan to be open Saturday. The rain is not expected to come in until later in the day. However, things change here, so please call us directly if you have any questions. 801-824-3933
