Beautiful new snow makes for beautiful skiing.

I was out shoveling yesterday and couldn't help but marvel at just how nice this new snow is. The consistency and texture is absolutely perfect. Do I wish more had fallen?  Yes - but am I happy with what we got? You bet! It's really nice snow which makes for really nice skiing. 
This weekend we'll be skiing on 16k of really nice snow. Snowshoeing on 30k. 
All the blue and green inner trails are open, and all the trails out to the end of Loki's are open and groomed. Skate lanes are firm, tracks are set. It's a cold morning but not too cold to ski. Dress appropriately. Once in the woods, any wind is minimal, that makes a big difference.
