20 days of perfect skiing!

26km open for skiing, 30km open for snowshoeing. No fat bikes today, it's still too soft. 
Packed powder conditions today will make for a fabulous day on the trails. Classic skiing is great, and skate is pretty darn good. The skate lane has sent up nicely. This is perfect snow for new skiers to learn on, it's soft and forgiving.

Jane sent us these pictures from her ski on Helga's Run and Boynton yesterday. She saw some interesting tracks out there while she was making her own first tracks. The last time I skied Helga's I was right behind a beautiful doe who ran in front of me for a good section of the trail until she veered off in the woods. We were both having a wonderful time. She stood and watched me as I skied by. I wonder what she was thinking.

The skiing is wonderful. If you can sneak away, come for a ski or a snowshoe. We won't tell anyone you are here.
