1/11/2024 Open at 11:00 am with limited but nice skiing

There's a bit of clean up to do, and a few extra passes to be done before the snow is the way we like it for skiing but the happy news is that it isn't anywhere near as challenging as we expected. This is cause for celebration! 
Malcolm is out this morning working on some of the core trails. He says it takes a few passes but it's grooming up nicely. He'd making a nice soft suggary snow that is going to be quite nice to ski on. He's going to be setting some tracks before he comes in for the day. 
We ended up with more snow than we started with, and more water so there are a lot of spots we aren't touching yet but maybe tomorrow we'll be able to open a few more trails.
Looking ahead: tomorrow morning may be ok but the weekend isn't looking all that great. Sunday has some hope but Saturday is looking like it will be another yucky day. We will keep updating but don't hesitate to pick up the phone and give us a call if you want more information, or just a friendly person to commiserate with. We're here.
