Trail Report, plus

First, a trail report: We got out to groom last night and are finishing up this morning. All of the inner trails, as well as Roundabout, Beaver Ponds, and Odin's, are firming up and look so, so good. Boynton has a tree leaning across the trail, so we have that trail temporary closed. George is headed that way now (7am). Once we get it down or determine that it's safe to ski around, we'll open Secret Meadows, River Loop and Loki's.

Now, what I really want to write about is our amazing staff. We were busy yesterday. Really busy. The wind didn't deter people. Joe, George, and Pam were on the move all day and I watched them interact with our customers with smiles and enthusiasm, even as weariness set in. The same is true on days when Bill, Jane, and Rosamund are are in the mix. They are all supremely competent, helpful and nice. As a group, we build eachother up and are stronger together. I am so grateful for our team!
