Rain, Rain, Go Away...and Xmas Eve!

We're closed today.  It's been great to have some skiing pre-Christmas.  At 7 am we are already at 40 degrees and due to hit 50 by noon.  We're hoping the rain stays light and quickly turns to snow but that is optimistic.  The pessimistic point of view has us spending Saturday chain sawing up  a lot of trees that have fallen across the trails.  We just don't know the affect of this storm.  Stay tuned, stay safe and we'll post an update as we are able to assess things.

Snow cover or not plan now to join us early Christmas Eve from 5-8 pm as you kick off your Christmas Eve celebration.  We held this event last year and those who attended had a great time and raved about the event.  Cocoa, s'mores, a bonfire, outdoors in the winter air and hopefully snow!  What could be more Christmassy?   We'll have the lights on, snow or not so you can track any reindeer hoof prints our trails might have.  And if we do have snow we might find out if the rumor is true: We all know that Santa prefers his nordic skiing to be classic style, but word is Mrs. Claus is a skater!   Hmmm, ....we need to see this for ourselves....
