Friday 2/20 trail report!

Friday 2/20 2pm update:
Snow is flying here at Viking and we are closing up early before the roads get worse!

Viking will open for skiing and snowshoeing Friday 2/20 from 9am-4pm! 

We have a low overnight of 22 degrees, so by morning conditions should firm up nicely. Tomorrows forecast is calling for 6-8" of snow, likely starting by noon. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for temps to stay below freezing tomorrow! With a forecast high of 32 degrees, and the fresh snow, conditions will be softer as the day goes on. We will doing some trail packing as the storm progresses, so watch for grooming activity when you are on trail! We will post updated conditions throughout the day, please check back here or on our social media.

*Once the storm gets going, be sure to check for any updates before traveling to the center, as we may close early if roads are getting dangerous.*

 Upper Beaver Pond, Lower Beaver Pond, Odin's Run, Odin's Ring, Boynton to Roundabout,  Roundabout Boynton Run
