daily trail report

1/25 Conditions report

1/25/2026

CLOSED AS OF 11am . STAY SAFE IN THE STORM!
Lots of happy skiers and snowshoers took advantage of yesterday's sunshine, bundled up and explore our trails! We will be open again today, 1/25, starting at 9am. The incoming storm is predicted to hit Londonderry at about noon today. Once the storm arrives, it is supposed to be delivering up an inch of snow an hour. For everyone's safety, we will close the trails and shop when it starts snowing. Check back here because I will post updates on the website and social media as the day progresses.

It currently looks like up to 35" of snow could fall in the next 24 hours!! Viking will be closed tomorrow, Monday 1/26, while we work prepping the trails for skiing. This amount of snow will require several rounds of rolling, compacting, and grooming! Nate and Bill went out yesterday to clear more down trees,  this dump of snow will hopefully allow us to open our entire trail system this coming week!

It is -1F at 7am and predicted to reach about 7F at noon. Don't forget to dress in layers and warm up with some soup or a hot drink from our Cafe after!
