It is definitely better - but it isn't over
Below you will find the current plan for Winter 2022-2023
Please note: if the covid/cold and flu season becomes an issue this winter - for the health of our staff we will be requiring masks be worn when inside our shop.
You do not need to make a reservation to come ski or snowshoe with us.
Just come when you can and enjoy your day.
Our goal is to offer you the best skiing experience we can while keeping operations as safe as possible for both visitors and staff. To that end, the following protocols are in place for this ski season. Masks must be worn when in any public areas of the nordic center.
GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY - The basics
- If you feel sick, please, please stay home.
- Masks may be required when entering the shop. Please check the sign on the door.
- Contact surfaces in the ski shop will be sanitized frequently.
- One bathroom in the main building will be open. A heated outhouse will also be available for customer use.
- Food will be sold for take-out only. Soups and sandwiches will be available on weekends and holiday weeks
- Sanitizing stations will be available in key areas. Please use them before coming into any buildings
- And again, anyone who show symptoms of respiratory illness of any kind is asked to take the day off and not come skiing.
WARMING HUTS - will be open unless respiratory illnesses ramp up during the winter
- Your car can alway be your warming hut. Please be prepared to use your vehicle as your base. Booting up, taking breaks, and eating should be done either in your vehicle or at one of our outdoor spaces.
- Leave all bags and personal items in your car.
- The fire pit area benches and picnic tables are outside for everyone's use.
- Trailside picnics are encouraged on nice days. There are three picnic tables out on the trails and one small picnic cabin that will be open for small groups on a first come basis.
