Minutes from Stratton, Okemo, Bromley and Magic Mountains, family friendly Viking Nordic has 35 kilometers of wooded trails for skate and classic of all skill levels. In addition to great skiing, Viking Nordic offers a full service cross-country ski shop, cafe serving specialty Vermont food and a 4 bedroom guest house.
At Viking Nordic you'll find everything you need for the perfect cross-country getaway:
- Full service ski shop - ski equipment, snowshoes and accessories; expert advice and repairs. Viking Nordic is an official Fischer demo site

- Instruction - certified for group, private and children's lessons. Click here to see Lesson Rates
- Snowshoeing - Rentals and an expanded dedicated snowshoe-only trail. Snowshoers are free to use our entire trail system when we’re open. Please stay to the right as skiers pass and please do not step in the groomed tracks. If you rent equipment for the day you can switch during the day from skis to snowshoes and back.
- Pulks for sale from Viking Nordic - pull your little one in the latest sleds from Wilderness Engineering
- On-Snow Kidsitting - Have your little one ski or snowshoe with an on-snow sitter. Call ahead to reserve.
- Cafè serving your favorite treats, soups and sandwiches, and hot and cold drinks.
- Warming Hut & Sun Deck – great place to eat for those who bring their own lunch, located in base area meadow
- Trailside Cabin – New in 2007! An 8x12 cabin located out on the way to Beaver Ponds in a meadow just off of Roundabout. A great place to pause and take a break.
- Night Skiing – on major holidays we open for public night ski. But any night you and your group can throw a party and rent the entire course and lights for $150. This entitles your group to as many trail passes as you need, $4 per ski rental package, and use of the warming hut or clubhouse as a gathering pass.
